A Free End-of-Year Cultural Gathering Celebrating Hope, Creativity and Togetherness

As the year approaches its conclusion, V Hope is pleased to invite visitors to Winter of Hope, a free cultural gathering dedicated to reflection, creativity, shared experiences, and the possibilities that a new year can bring.

The end of a year is often a time when people look back on experiences, remember important moments, and think about what they hope for in the future. It can also be an opportunity to come together, reconnect, and share time with others.

Winter of Hope has been created around these ideas.

The event will offer a welcoming cultural programme that brings together creative activities, collective reflection, storytelling, and opportunities for conversation. Rather than focusing only on celebration, the event will encourage participants to consider the meaning of hope and the role that creativity and human connection can play in looking toward the future.

The programme is open to everyone and does not require registration through the website. Visitors will be welcome to attend and participate in the different activities throughout the afternoon and evening.

Event Programme

2:00 PM – Welcome to Winter of Hope

The event will begin with a warm welcome and an introduction to the theme of the day.

Visitors will be invited to discover the programme and reflect on the meaning of hope. The opening discussion will explore how hope can be connected to imagination, creativity, relationships, and the ability to continue looking forward.

2:30 PM – Reflections on the Year

This session will offer participants an opportunity to reflect on the year through guided questions and creative prompts.

Participants may think about an important memory, a positive discovery, a meaningful encounter, a lesson learned, or an experience that changed the way they see something.

Those who wish to do so will be able to share short reflections with the group.

The purpose is to create a respectful space where different experiences can be acknowledged and shared.

3:30 PM – Hope in Creative Form

Participants will take part in a creative workshop exploring the theme of hope.

Using words, drawings, visual ideas, or short messages, visitors will be invited to create a personal or collective expression of what hope means to them.

The workshop will focus on imagination and participation rather than artistic skill.

Individual contributions will help create a collective representation of the different ideas and aspirations shared by participants.

4:45 PM – Break and Informal Exchange

Visitors will have time to relax, meet other participants, and continue conversations.

This informal moment will encourage the kind of human connection that is central to the mission of V Hope.

5:30 PM – Stories of Inspiration

The programme will continue with a storytelling session focused on moments of inspiration and positive change.

Participants may share a personal story, a memory, a creative experience, or an example of something that gave them encouragement.

The session will remain open and voluntary, allowing visitors to participate as speakers or listeners.

By sharing experiences, participants can discover how different people find inspiration and meaning in different ways.

6:30 PM – Looking Forward Together

This collective discussion will focus on the future.

Participants will be invited to consider what they would like to discover, create, learn, or contribute to in the coming year. The conversation will also explore how cultural and creative activities can continue to create opportunities for connection.

The aim is to end the year by looking forward with curiosity and openness.

7:15 PM – Final Creative Moment

During the final activity, participants will contribute a short word, idea, wish, or message for the future to a collective display created during the event.

Together, these contributions will form a symbolic representation of the diversity of hopes and possibilities shared by those present.

7:45 PM – Closing of the Event

The event will conclude with final thanks to all visitors and participants.

Winter of Hope is intended to create more than a seasonal gathering. It is an opportunity to reflect on the role of creativity, culture, and human connection in our lives.

As one year comes to an end and another approaches, V Hope wishes to create a space where people can share experiences, discover new perspectives, and remember that hope can be strengthened through connection and collective creativity.
